Last Revised: 9/9/03 Picture Name Status From My Eyes Amy Kanzaki Single Once, a few years ago, when I was down visiting Barb on an NSC ski trip I met Kay & Amy, and a bit later they were up in Whistler (another NSC trip I think) so I met them in Vancouver for a bit of tourism. Since then I've tried to get together whenever I was in town, but that drifted off after I travelled less, and Amy's email went defunct. Kay is doctor, and Amy was considering a career change the last time I talked to them. Ran into Kay again at the NSC Mardi Gras Party Kay has forwarded Amy's new email to me, and now we're all going to try an get together for dinner or something. Angel Inouye Divorced (Ken) Athletic studdette, Angel can 'out jock' most guys It's entertaining to play with (and against) her even if Angel can't hit any of my sets ;) She's always up for a fun time, and always go out of her way to include everyone. Her dog Tango alone is often worth the visit. If you want you can look at pictures of her shower or wedding. And I would be remiss in not pointing out that she now has a new facial addition, see it here Barbara Chan AKA: Barb Married (Ken) Where to start? skies, runs, dragon boat, artist (glass, sculpture and computer) clearly a woman of many talents. One of the ski friends I regularly used to visit in the Bay when I lived in Seattle. She has a daughter Elyssa who is quite a treat, and very entertaining. Currently married to Ken (quite the Mattel couple eh?) and I hear is now expecting. Barbara Chow AKA: Bar Divorced Another Barbara, not to be confused with Barb, this one is a friend of Steve Young (from Ski ASIA) and boy, is she fast on the slopes, except for in the bumps. She lives in SF, and is busy remodelling her house. She likes action/suspense flicks, and driving fast in her miata on country roads. Currently single, she's even in my decade age wise ;) Candice Nguyen Married Kevin Met in Houston, one of the few women at a NAGVA tourny, she's a lawyer, and an excellent volleyball player, so you can't argue or talk smack on the court. Felicia Davis AKA: sistapino Attached The new receptionist to replace Dot, she's very friendly and is part black, part filipino (hence her self appointed nickname). And yes, like everyone I meet nowadays, she's really young. Currently dating someone that no one has met yet but he doesn't appear to pass the Dating Age Calculation ;) She recently left our company with no forwarding email, hopefully one of these days she'll drop me a line. Jack Lo Married (Miki & Max) One of the smarter guys I know, and probably a better setter too. When he's not busy catering to Miki's every whim (and standing guard over Max) Jennifer Chang AKA: Princess Single A friend of Karen Soo, Jennifer is not just High Maintenence, she's Ultra High Maintenence. Its her world (Jennifer-land) and we're just allowed to live in it. Moved out here from Connecticut (sans job) bought a new car, and wants a new condo, may even work some to get it. She's single, plays tennis, paddles dragon boats, born in the year of the Snake and believes herself to be a great cook. If you ever meet her, you'll never forget her distinctive laugh, it echos everywhere. Julie Perkins AKA: Jules Little Smooth Single Named because she's Big Smooth's sister, or so she claims, though she could use some of his height ;) Ex-SO of Scot (why he let her get away we'll never know ;) I think she's still single, though she could be juggling more than a few. Karen Ando Single Karen is a friend of Candice & Caroline, and sometimes I think she's an even cross between them. Definitely the life of the party after a few drinks. She's single and looking, but I can't quite tell for what. Keely Sims Single Keely is my one claim to fame, aside from being a stunning woman who's even my age, she is an actress and singer, and has an 'A' sand rating to boot. The perfect woman, if she just didn't live in LA, but being Lori's former landlord and part time vball partner, means I get to see her occasionally I visit down there (soon to be more often ;) Linda Horiuchi Single Works in PR for a living, that alone is enough to tell you how friendly she can be, it appears to be sincere though ;) She always seems to have a smile on her face and is a very good sport. You can see her at her best here. She appears to be currently dating, but I haven't gotten the full scoop on that, yet. Lora Choy Attached (Rich) Kinda perky folks, best known as Kent's costo-buddy, avid tennis player, and when she's not playing she's spending time with her honey -- which means we rarely see her. Cheryl, on the other hand rides the same bus as them so she'll find some scoop every so often. Both she, and her sister Dora date medical types (a doctor & a dentist). Melissa Andrews AKA: Mel Little Missy Single Mel, the youngster from AT&T WDD, the only one that I met there that consistantly keeps in touch, even when I moved to CA, quite the babe and a lot of fun. Still single. Miki Takahashi Married (Jack) One of the few Seattle folks that I know down here, she spends most her time lately playing strictly women's vball, however it always fun getting together with her, Jack and Max. Nancy Nojima Single Met her at the Ski Asia trip, she was a friend of Dina's (who I went to college with) She pretty entertaining, and is fun to just chat with, which we try to do regulary. It helps that she's about the same age as me. She's a pharmacist, lives in Orange County, and has a house and dog (Cody). Suspected of dating someone in the Bay Area, but until we get them to fess up, I can't put his name here. (no, it's not me) Reta Dominguez Single Met her at a NAGVA tourny, cuz she was playing on a men's team, former setter at UNM, she's tremendously talented, able to play backrow/libero for Men's AA/A teams, likes money tournys in the sand and will probably be moving to this coast soon in pursuit of volleyball and studly bodies ;) Rikki Brando Single Another actress babe from LA, can't even show her face cuz she's currently a recluse, however you can see her (and maybe much more of her than you think) in some of her older movies like Bikini Carwash. Shannon Corbin Single Used to sell me art when she worked at the WB, and has managed to keep in touch over the years. She recently moved down here to work for ArtInsider.com as the Manager for Art & Artist development. Currently dating, but losing patience rapidly ;) SWITCTBN Single She Who Is Too Cute To Be Named. An old, old, internet acronym from soc.singles. She is cute and no, I still can't name her. Doesn't matter though, if you read my New Years Eve journal entry you'll know why. Yvonne An Unknown (never asked) Hobble foot, so busy at work she lets me call her "lame-o" for not having more time for mid-week movies. Still she's a kick, and I really need to try and get her and Lora in a room some time, I think they might be twins separated at birth. She's from Texas (Aggies) and has that southern twang, but is by no means a belle (other than in looks). Runs, skis, volunteers and is a manager, with all that, who knows if she has time to date ;)
