its a bummer that the birth mom decided to take the child back *after* Chris and Amy had taken the baby home….

Elena’s brother and sister-in-law got to bring home their new baby .. Giuliana Marie and they sent a few pictures that I put up on my gallery [removed due to mom’s indecision]

Congrats to them .. and better start saving for that college fund …

I forgot to mention that my friend Mair now has her Jewlery site up .. its at Loopy Lu Designs if Squip hadn’t shut hers down I could claim knowledge of two NY jewelers.

I’m headed up to Seattle to check out the house work this weekend .. things are coming along slowly, but mostly trouble free. We have had to delay our move till after Valentines day to ensure that all the work is done, and that Elena can get all of her orders out in a timely manner.

It looks like I’ve settled on the garage door (my choice) with some windows and a very quiet belt drive and battery backup. On Saturday we will meet with the contractors and go over some fireplace options to replace the painted brick. I’ll probably get a slew of pictures then. The next thing to do is to order the fridge (Maytag french door) and washer/dryer (LG TROMM) I sure hope I can sell my Sunnyvale place in timely manner to pay for everything.

The next big research project is the move quotes .. turns out there are a lot of shady auto transport folks out there, some of them want more for the motorcycle than the car and we still have the scooter to move too.
