Old Journal Entries

  Gaack, its been forever since I've had a chance to update anything, Still haven't finished unpacking and organizing all of Elena's stuff with mine, but I did get the computer room setup with a new cabinet and desk ... now I have to find a place to store the old computer desks till I can give them away.

  Been travelling a bunch, mostly sonics games, boy does the management suck, at least we got good value for GP, even if they did create the scenerio that made him not want to re-sign. Still, its a decent game, hopefully McMillan will come back next year.

  Fila and Gilbert had been getting along pretty well, but today, while I was home alone, Gilbert got a little jealous, and a lot brave, jumped on the couch, ran across hopped on my shoulder and then proceeded to fly off and bite Fila on the nape of the neck, since Fila was on my lap at the time everyone flew everywhere ... Gilbert may be getting many more time-outs in his cage if he keeps that up, but Elena's worried that Fila will try and get even.

  Last couple of weeks I've been ill on and off, two different things though, first it was just a regular cold, then about a week after that something flu like .. but at least it wasn't that asian respiratory thing ... even though 2 of the cases are in Santa Clara which is right next door. I think part of it is that I've been watching way too much war coverage late at night (Fox for analysis, CNN for coverage) but the other part is that my whole work group got re-org'd into another section of engineering. I'll probably be looking for a new job soon, hopefully inside of the company.

  Now that Gilbert's in the house, theres more of a reason to try and setup my webcam permenently, maybe in the next month or two when I'm not travelling so much. Hopefully more time for updates too.
