Again with the long update lag, I was busy researching a new digital camera, and I finally decided on a Canon PowerShot S400 Elph .. it'll be really nice to not have to carry around my old Nikon 950. Took it out for a trial run this past weekend when we went to visit Gilbert at his "fat farm". You can see pictures (and short avi clips) at http://www.notanerd.com/gilbert There are also new pictures of the back yard birds at: http://www.notanerd.com/birds

Work's been pretty busy, but I had to skip a bball session or two since my right foot has been hurting. A couple of weeks ago someone landed on it, strangely the more I walk and run, the better it feels, but then the next day (even after icing) its pretty sore and stiff. I'm hoping that its just soft tissue soreness, but if it keeps on hurting I'll probably have to go for an x-ray to see if there is a break or stress fracture.

Elena's baking classes appear to be going well and I'll soon have pictures up of some of her projects, but I still need to clear out that backlog of other images soon.

It finally rained down here, well sprinkled when a heavy cloud ran through. Since Elena was off at chocolate class I went to dinner and to see The Order (wait for it on free TV) with Kiz ... She's still out of work but has plans to join a sailing race from SF to Mexico in Oct and then will be snowboard bumming at Tahoe in her group's winter condo, I'm sure she'll eventually start looking a job ;)

I managed to get all of my Laguna Seca pictures up, some of the overseas gang was sneaking peeks while I was working on them, but I think everyone will be happier with the new layout, and maybe some of the comments. You can peruse them at: http://www.notanerd.com/bike/laguna-seca-2003.html Now if I could just find all my Europe travel guides so I can put up those pictures too (not to mention the various weddings from this past summer)

Oh and I finally got around to updating my bios entries, lots of folks have fallen off recently (check the B-list and don't be surprised), there are some new folks I should add, but I have to find headshots of them first.

Well its getting a bit better, I'm starting to gain grown on some of the picture backlog as well as keeping current. Now up are the older pictures of my bike's rearsets as well as new pictures of my new cycleslider

Been getting back to my normal bbal routine, and so far the body's holding up better than expected. Still have the sore knee and ankle, but the sore psoas seems to be recovering with streching and ice, but the best is that I'm running longer and harder on the court. Now if I could just get some volleyball in I'd be set, hopefully the new sand court at work will be done soon.
