Declare a holiday, I'm making 2 updates in a month .. only I wish that
I wasn't .. tooling around on the freeway yesterday the M kinda exploded,
well, the radiator hose spewed everywhere, managed to limp off of the freeway
with a red temp light but I probably won't find out till Monday what kind of
damage was done.
Today we drove down to San Luis Obispo to pick up Elena's nephew Max. He'll
be spending the whole week here, probably training to be a chocolate tester and
bird sitter ;).
As a result of all of these events I've been rather slow about organizing
my Laguna Seca pictures, its close but won't be ready till mid-week now. I'll
probably try and get the camera back up and running (wirelessly) first so that
Max's parents can watch how much chocolate we're feeding him.

Wow, that was a 2 month break, hobbling around was pretty
draining .. the PT was orginally going well till we noticed
that the incision wasn't healing, so then I had to lay off
PT for 3 weeks, right up, and through, the Laguna Seca motorcycle
races. That was a blast, hoping to get pictures up by this weekend.
In any case the incision is healed and now I can start PT again, hopefully
I'll be playing again soon, or at the very least start riding the bike again.
Its kinda sore and the scar tissue still is a bit thick.
Elena's business (GrendelSweets)
is doing ok, lots of new flavors, and finally pictures up on the site. In the
interim she managed to pass her MSF course, now all she has to do is pass
the written exam and she can start riding her scooter around.
The camera's been off for a bit because we rearranged the room and I'm
trying to install a wireless bridge to make it easier to move the camera around
and then it'll also be easier to add more cameras.
Work's been pretty good, company's making money, and I managed to get
a raise .. the next project release is coming up soon so I'm going to be
even busier than before .. good thing I don't need crutches at work now.
The new cubes are ok, at least I have a place to hang my dragon kite
and parrot display now.
The next week should be interesting, Elena's nephew Max (9yrs old) is coming
to visit for a week, apparently he's never been away from home (LA) before,
hopefully we have enough to keep him entertained.
