Still slightly recovering from the Sat night outing with caroline,
Dinner at A16 (in SF) was pretty good, and then there was Karaoke
at Silver Cloud .. but no William Hung ..I'm sure it'll be wilder
when we all meet at Rod's new resturant for her b-day in LA.
Elena's business is picking up some, she's going to be selling her
chocolates through a custom gift basket store that seems pretty excited
to have her products on board.
I'm getting closer and closer to playing status, going to try a bit
of shooting this week and see how the ankle flexes. I've also been
spending more time than expected watching the Olympics .. good thing
the men's b-ball team isn't on during prime time ..that'd be just too
frustrating.

Got kinda busy there, the car was pricey to repair ($1900) but part of that
was because they replaced the whole radiator, water pump and thermostat ..
yeah it wasn't the hose, it was the neck of the radiator that broke, probably
because the water pump impeller detached. Add that to the fact that they
found I needed new brakes during the inspection and, of course, the rotors
were too thin to turn so they needed replacing too.
Anyway got the car back before Max's visit, he was here for a week
and there were multitudes of trips .. we're now family members
at the Tech Museum (he played in a video tourny there) and the California
Academy of Sciences. The CAS is in a temporary building by the Metreon
in SF .. pretty cool ant exhibit, they had a large army ant display
and we got to see them feed... The aquarium portion was pretty good
considering, lots of large fish in smallish tanks .. can't wait to see
what the new Steinhart Aquarium (in Golden Gate Park) looks like when its
finished and it all moves back there.
Works pretty busy again, but I managed to get my
Laguna Seca
pictures up.
