Old Journal Entries

  Its been forever, and yet not that much has happened, especially since work has been keeping me pretty busy but the 3 month recap looks something like:
  • Finished all of the travelling receptions, all that remains are the thank-you notes (and yes, I'll be writing some of them too ;) and the pictures, they're still waiting to be posted, real soon now.

  • Finally ordered our rings .. Elena had some problems with hers (an Alex Sepkus, returned twice for rework) and oddly, less than attentive sales people at The Vault Gallery

    Mine, on the other hand is still in work, its a Christian Bauer that I ordered through some of Patty's friends at Alvin Goldfarb Jewelers

    After we get them I'll try and put some pictures up (yeah, really)

  • The Sonics were in the playoffs, and only a true basketball fan will understand when I say that the games were awesome, even if they lost .. there is nothing like that kind of atmosphere for seeing a game in person. Hopefully there won't be a lockout next year so they can build on their unexpected success.

  • Managed to get my cam running again, and now there are two, one for Gilbert and another for Cracker. Login/passwords are the same for both (guest/guest) hopefully they won't lock up .. or at least it won't take me so long to get them up and running again.

  • For Elena's birthday I surprised her with an Osim iMedic 500 chair .. I think she's using it at least twice a day now, and I get to sneak in some time after she goes to bed ;)

  • We've been sick for over the last week, managed to spend the Memorial Day weekend couch potato-ing (osim-ing actually ;) watching some very shlocky sci-fi (gotta love those weekend specials)

  Thats really about it, still working on all the pictures, Mair's visit, China, the receptions, oh and I even found ones I thought I had already posted .. Caroline's Bday .. maybe I'll get those up before it comes around again .. and lets not forget the smattering of baby pictures for Tyler (Lori/Glen), Mason (Kathy/Charlie) and the newest Karolina (Daryl/Ivona) .. Then after all that I can think about transferring the 13hrs of video I took in china .. I may just need to chew up all my vacation after my next release to do a bunch of website cleanup.

  Here's hoping its not another 3 months before I get to do updates .. I'm not sure that switching to blog software would make it any easier .. but I may have to take that plunge sometime.
