• 4/15/99
  Got auto & renters insurance today, the M was about 30% cheaper (dropped from $680 to about $470 per 6 months) and the renters was only $150/year for $25K coverage + a $10K rider for my computers -- who says CA is more expensive ?!?! Oh and it's mid-80s and sunny again ... I'm thinking shorts until November now.

  Finished my taxes, and e-filed them, if you see money floating around on the internet, its my refund I'm sure ;) Got my plates today so I'm almost 100% CA now, only thing left is car/renters insurance locally and then I'm done. The weather was mid-70s today, but my car said it was 84, in either case its very sunny and warm, and I'm using my AC on the way to work..

  New computer desk! scanner up! taxes done! next is irs e-filing...played a vball tourny this past weekend, was pretty fun, but not very competitive, strictly rec level coed.

  My car passed emissions !! now all I have to do is show up and get my new plates next week. My computer is finally up and printing, good thing because taxes are due soon, still no desk or living room chair so its tv on the floor for awhile.

  KDB Rules NAGVA Denver BB, well, almost -- for a piecemeal team, that barely played .500 in pool, we came from the 8th seed to knock off the #1, & #2 seeds to make it into the finals, where the #2 team came back to beat us in a double final, oh well, second isn't too bad especially since every match we had went 3 games (that'd be 15 games in 1 day) I think we got our money's worth.
  On a special note ... KDB's Daryl "Pretty Boy" Jacobson (recently relocated to Denver from Seattle) made the BB all-star team, and had plenty of offers to switch teams (and we're not talking volleyball here ;)

  Forgot to mention that I'm running into way too many people with the same first name down here, must've been something in the water cuz it seems like every 3rd person or so uses my name. Also was stopped at a light today and a motorcyclist pulled up next to me (between lanes !) and wanted to talk about Seattle since I still had my WA plates on, he was born and raised in Kent (Kentridge HS) and lived on East Hill -- I hope I never get that desparate for news from home.
