Daryl & Ivona's Wedding (9/21/2002) - Rehersal Dinner

Although rehersal dinners aren't a Czech tradition (mainly because they don't rehearse the wedding) Daryl and Ivona held one anyway for all of the out of town guests.
It was at a place in Zlin named Vivaldi. The food was good, even if some of it was a bit unexpected, for instance, this was the shrimp cocktail.
This was Patrick's dish, but don't let the green stuff fool you, while we all thought it was pesto, it turned out to be spinich.
I had the veal, although I was too hungry to take a picture of it, it didn't matter much cuz it was really pork, thanks to Daryl's attempt at translating Czech (yeah, he picked the Shrimp Cocktail too ;) In any case, the desserts were excellent.
On to the party, I'll probably get more than a few names wrong as my memory is fading quickly and I'm not even sure I ever got everyone's last names but on we go ...

Daryl's dad gave an excellent toast/speech although from what I hear it was much shorter than usual cuz it also had to be translated into Czech.
Then it was Daryl's turn, he managed to talk in Czech while we distracted him with flashbulbs.
Still, everyone was pretty attentive, and entertained
